Re: AKs and TPTK, Did I play too aggressively?
any reads on UTG?
river bets sooooo ugly, not sure if we can fold even after the 2bet overcall getting 20:1 (the chance u have either beat is terrible though). Id want to fold the turn but could probably only do it if there were more overpairs possible or sets in his UTG raising range (and still almost no 2 pair combos) ie the board was J97 and I had AJ or QT7 i had AQ. Even then the pot is big now though so I probably end up calling down for the overplayed split and hoping I have more outs than 2. I dont hate ur flop cap or anything since sb is padding the pot occasionally with a draw ud like to charge, but I think id just start wanting to calldown from UTGs 3bet since its pretty much only KQ-KT best case scenario. |

Re: AKs and TPTK, Did I play too aggressively?
Betting the river is bad. You're really hoping to split the pot once UTG raises the turn after you capped the flop. The best case scenario on the river is for UTG to bet, and SB to call with a worse hand and you to overcall. By betting the river, you put in more when you are behind, and also give SB an excuse to fold when it is raised.

Re: AKs and TPTK, Did I play too aggressively?
UTG is 31/20 but only 45 hands. I think I have to bet the non-diamond turn even if I just call the flop 3bet, because quite often UTG has a draw. I was probably a little bit on tilt, I guess I should have saved 1bb on the river and cc. After his turn raise I put UTG on AK, SB was probably betting a draw on the flop.

if you put him on AK, why did you bet river?

Re: AKs and TPTK, Did I play too aggressively?
I like it except for the river bet. Once he raises that turn you can't bet the river IMO. Any read on SB, he played his hand here pretty weirdly?

Re: AKs and TPTK, Did I play too aggressively?
BTW, UTG had KT, which he chose to 3bet on the flop and got lucky on the turn and won a nice pot. My flop raise was not enough to get him out. Don't know what the 3rd player had.
