TP2TK facing 3bet shove on flop against tricky opponent.
Villians stats: 34/20/4.3 over only 75 hands
My stats 26/22/1.6 I have had a few battles with this player over the last 75 hands or so. I have been open raising a LOT preflop from the button into his blinds. He folded to my 3 bet from UTG after he RR me when he was on the button. We haven't got into a proper confrontation post flop until this hand. I MAY be perceived as a bit weak post flop by him. Full Tilt No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $94.75 UTG+1: $14.25 CO: $113.25 hero: $127 SB: $144.75 BB: $302 Pre-flop: (6 players) hero is Button with 3 folds, hero raises to $4, SB folds, BB calls. Flop: ($8.5, 2 players) BB checks, hero bets $6.5, BB raises to $18, hero raises to $56.5, BB raises all-in $298, hero folds. Uncalled bets: $241.5 returned to BB. Results: Final pot: $121.5 |

Re: TP2TK facing 3bet shove on flop against tricky opponent.
I hate the 3bet fold line here. I think flush draw is well within his range. If your going to make this 3 bet, i think you have to call his all in.
I think the best line is to call the c/r and re-evaluate the turn. |

Re: TP2TK facing 3bet shove on flop against tricky opponent.
so you put in roughly half your stack with top pair decent kicker only to fold to a shove on like the wettest board ever? add to this your read on villain and i hate it. imo you need to call after taking this line otherwise it doesnt make sense.
another line is folding to his flop reraise if you dont feel like gamboling. |

Re: TP2TK facing 3bet shove on flop against tricky opponent.
I don't like the 3-bet if I'm going to fold to a push. You've put in ~1/2 your stack and if you're ahead 1/3 times you have to call. Looks like set/draw to me. Small chance he has smaller 10. I probably would'nt have played the hand like you, but as played I probably call and ride the variance train.
