I don't care how big/bad the guy is beating up a woman, I'm going to go get some punches in on the dirtbag.

If he has a gun or a knife and it's just suicidal, then I might throw chivalry out the window.

At any rate:

average sized man + barstool >>>>>>>> Drunken Behemoth.

theres more to the story. Apparently the cops tried to cover it up and pay the bartender and owner of the bar to not release the video.

does not suprise me at all. i don't want to get into it, because it is a long boring story for the most part. but the trial i was involved with as a witness in just opened my eyes to how the police department protects its own. and the lengths they are willing to go to to protect violent, corrupt, and all around douche bag cops.

[/ QUOTE ]

This should be no surprise to anyone.

Havent watched video yet, but if this happened to the bar I frequent, myself and 64 of my friends would have beat the ish out of this guy, had everyone leave cut him into little pieces and fed him to all the homeless people to cover it up...

...how are there no bouncers or people who protect there bar so no [censored] goes down?

...unless everyone knew he was a cop and were pussies and afraid of him or what "might" happen to him

Just to clear up this part of the story; a police report was filed by the bartender two days after the incident. By this time, the cop had checked himself into a substance abuse program (on the advice of counsel). The Police Department knew where he was, but they are not allowed to remove someone from rehab to make an arrest. After he left rehab, he was arrested.

This is a small Chicago neighborhood bar, it is not unusual at all that there were no bouncers.
