quick preflop
Villain opens in the CO. You have QJo OTB.
What type of player must villain be for you to 3bet? How do the types of players in the blinds affect your decision? What about QJs, and QTs? |

Re: quick preflop
if co is a kind of opponent open wide variety of hands, such as 76s/87s,and at the same time is not showdown bound, i will 3bet wide variety hands too, including qjo/qjs/qts.

Re: quick preflop
so you would you 3bet QJo against a 35/25 45 ASB 44 WtSD?
I think KJo, QJs, and QTs are automatic for me against these guys, QJo is a sometimes. I don't really know how good/bad this is though. |

Re: quick preflop
44 is quite high but still can let him fold.
but if i make this kind of move, i do not totally depend on WTSD. i will observe couples of orbits in advance. after i get a better read, i may make the play. actually what kind of cards is not very important under this kind of scenary, just have a little bit something is good enough. at that time, we are not playing our cards, we are playing our opponents. we just want our opponent to miss the flop and we use our position to let him laydown. his possibility to flop anything is around 35%-45%. |
