To save space we would have to drop both the online/offline indicator and the mood indicator. I'm indifferent to this but would rather not modify things I don't have to.

I'd vote to drop them to save space fwiw. They are kinda cute perks, but they wouldn't really be missed.

If it's an all or nothing this is a no-brainer. I could only see very limited utility in an online/offline tab (plus, I think people can set themselves to always invisible/offline as a lot of the POG people already do anyway). As for mood, who cares? This is a forum comprised of 95% males. Nobody cares what mood we're in.

I've temporarily removed the mood and offline/online indicator. We may put them back, but I want people to see what it would be like without them. Is the space savings significant enough to matter?

For me personally, yes. Forums with tons of blank space are very annoying to read. The mood and online/offline indicators are of very little value to me, especially when their inclusion results in so much empty space to scroll through.
