Re: NL200 - Squeeze play lands me in hot water
[ QUOTE ]
You might be ahead, but unless this guys a total donk just fold. Even if you have him beat, which i dont think you do, he will bet turn and bet river. Most of the time if he is bluffing its a semi bluff and it will hit somewhere along the line. Whats ur best situation here villian has AKo? [/ QUOTE ]soo we want to fold even if we have him beat because he's going to keep betting when behind?? sounds like ez $$ to me. |

[ QUOTE ] Hand 0: 39.685% 39.11% 00.58% 13164 194.00 { AcQd } Hand 1: 60.315% 59.74% 00.58% 20108 194.00 { 99+, AKs, AKo } [/ QUOTE ]what does it say when you add in AQ, AJ, KQ, KJ, QJ, JT, and 9T? [/ QUOTE ] pretty similar... i left out the non-sooted versions of the < A hands cuz i think it's just too unlikely that a 21/14 calls a 3-bet w/ <= KQo by the end it costs you mmm... about 130 into 330 i think? i think the point is that a call is a (slightly) good thing... esp considering the (small) chance that he mite just be bluffing? anyone see different? Re: NL200 - Squeeze play lands me in hot water
yes even if were beating him i fold...villian has wat in this hand...a flopped set, which were crushed, kj suited, Ak hearts, at worst when were facing a raise on this flop he has 87 hearts...therefore a fold because any turn card other then a total brick is dangerous...and for sabr im saying if he bets the flop the vilian will continue with bets on further streets.

And even if it was correct, we would be correct to call with pot odds. From what I remember of TheHumanChord he cold calls a lot of raises with speculative hands like suited connectors and gappers. I think this is a more accurate range: Text results appended to pokerstove.txt 178,200 games 0.005 secs 35,640,000 games/sec Board: Qh Th 9s Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 39.010% 38.35% 00.66% 68336 1180.50 { AQo } Hand 1: 60.990% 60.33% 00.66% 107503 1180.50 { JJ-99, QJs, JTs, T9s, 9h8h } It's very, very close. If we take out JJ then we're only 30% against his range. I'm not sure how loose he is with calling reraises either, so it's a pretty rough range I know he will show up with AK in this spot almost never though. So I think this is a call, but it's very close. |
