Default 50nl FTP - AT line check on monotone flop

UTG is 50.3/13/1.73 over 79 hands. He has shown himself to be capable of shoving his entire stack in with... well that's hte problem actually. I don't really know. He's done it 3 times before but everytime he forced everyone in the pot to fold. i've been in two of those pots and the third time it was a 3 way pot.

BB is an unknown but bought in short for what it matters.

Full Tilt Poker
$0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Ring Game
6 Players
LegoPoker Hand Converter

Stack Sizes
UTG: $68.45
MP: $53.80
CO: $46
Hero (BTN): $71.30
SB: $46.2
BB: $71.05

Preflop: T A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($0.75, 6 players)
UTG calls $0.50, MP folds, CO folds, Hero raises to $2.50, SB folds, BB calls $2, UTG calls $2

Flop: 4 7 T ($7.75, 3 players)
BB bets $3.25, UTG calls $3.25, Hero raises to $14, BB calls $10.75, UTG raises all in to $65.95, Hero folds, BB folds
Uncalled bet of $51.95 returned to UTG

Standard?
I felt I had to raise what might be the best hand, and to protect from the flush draw. I think just calling seems pretty bad, as almost certainly one of them has a high club and if they're holding AJ+, I'm dead to broadways as well.

Is there a better line to take?

i def thing raising here is the wrong thing to do. esp if you think hes capable of moving a stack with a draw. hes just as liable to move it with a better hand then yours and you have no idae where you are. id call one bet and fold to more aggression. youll get his stack

I would probably just call this bet too and try to keep the pot small. If he checks a non club turn I'd bet 3/4 pot, and if he made another weak bet I would probably put in a descent raise and fold to aggression. I think this hand you just want to get to a showdown as cheaply as possible.

The other advantage of that is that you'd finally be able to get some kind of read on this player. It might cost you this hand, but consider it the price of information.
