No Venetian?

Games have always been great, when I've been there. Plus they have good comps.

venetian is good in general but when i've been there (only twice weekends though) they didn't have a 5/10 going. I was staying there planning on playing there all weekend but ended up walking to the wynn.

I just back from vegas yesterday and the Bellagio 5-10 game is by far the easiest. Venetian had 2-5 with 1k max and was also a good game. I thought Wynn being uncapped made it alot tougher

Most live NL games have large pauses and are more in the 25 hands/hour range

you'd think so but with automatic card shufflers I find them at 34-38/hr but with drunks/fish the number drops considerably but who cares

This is an interesting thread, does anyone have any detail information as to how they rake the games in LV?

I only ask because I live in CA and supposedly the CA casinos rake 5 dollars after the flop! I'm not too possitiv on how the procedures works as I've yet to examine the games closely (due to playing online exclusively). But, I've heard from friends that they take 5 dollars after seeing the flop (which is why people tend to chop when it's folded to sb/bb). Does anyone have the detail information on how the rake is in both LV and CA casinos?

5/10 games are time in LV, usually $6/half. In general, the rake in LV is lower than other places due to lots of competition.

Last time I was at the Bellagio I was trying to figure out if anyone at my table could beat NL25 online... how is 20pt/100hands not attainable?

"spyu. It can be done. I average 1K per day at 1/2 back east so doing it at 5/10 with a solid game should be fairly simple."

Bull crap alarms went off every where with this statement. Just because you went to Altantic city one time and won 1000 in a 1/2 nl game doesn't mean you can do it evry day!

I played a few good 5-10 games at TI when I was there, they usually turned shorter too, like 6-7 handed, which was nice.

Yes, and they have a young female pokerroommanager with a huge front desk. Nice too kill to time before going to spearmint rhino.
