Default I 4bet bluffed OOP and just got called. ewwww

Only like 50 hands on villian. 24/18/4 He's seems like the TAGish 3betty type so I wanted to let him know early not to be 3betting me light. The 4bet is meh. I basically just froze on the flop cuz I didn't really want to put another $ in this hand. By the way, I suck at reraised pots.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|saw showdown

Button ($188)
SB ($102.60)
BB ($291.50)
UTG ($264.25)
MP ($270.35)
Hero ($209.50)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises to $7, Button raises to $21, 2 folds, Hero raises to $66, Button calls $45.

Flop: ($135) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: ($135) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $143.5 (All-In)

I thought the combo of him maybe having underpair plus the club draw made this an acceptable play.

EWWWWWW just about sums it up...If you are going to do this pf, I think you have to shove this turn, if not outright shoving air on the flop....ugggghhh this is why I hate the state of the 1/2 games on full tilt right now, and apparently stars is much of the same. Hope that he didn't flop the boat, pray for a club and I doubt JJ or QQ folds, probably not even 1010.

--P.S. Please tell me that you would play AA, AK like this also, you obv need to balance this play.

he didnt check the flop behind to fold the turn, hes calling always. i just check and stack him if a club rolls off.

I won't get the opportunity to see a 3rd club if I check though. Right? You don't think he could laydown QQ,JJ here?

yeah, he folds QQ/JJ here, but he calls AK/AA/KK. i think you're better off check/folding. he needs to be calling AQ/88+ preflop in order to make this a good push, cause as is there just aren't enough hands that he can have that he'll fold.

I think you are right in that you're likely getting shoved on if you check again, so I like the turn push. I think it's possible that some villains may laydown QQ or JJ here, but I really doubt most good ones would. Your line just seems so f.o.s.....thus why it is likely a very good line with AA, AK here as well as your (semi)bluffs. I think you're really hoping for stubborn pairs below 1010 to fold, or AQ type hands.
