Regarding the Taj:

[ QUOTE ]
There were definitely a lot of degenerate people playing here and lots of young Soprano-looking punks who just seemed to be looking for trouble. This was seriously the most hostile environment I've played in.

[/ QUOTE ]

I play there every weekend and never really thought of it this way. I find this hilarious.

Hey Daytripping, your observation really rings a bell with me. I was born and raised in Jersey. It’s not just the casinos man it’s the whole friggin state.
There are so many mafia wannabe types in Jersey it’s hilarious. Just don’t make eye contact and you’ll be ok.
If you have ever seen a Robert De Niro movie, you know when he says, “You talking to me, are you talking to me!” or “Are you looking at me” or “Are you staring at my girlfriend, man?”
It’s just typical. Yeah I know, I just stereotyped a whole state but I can speak as an authority, I was one of those idiots many many years ago.

And Urko888 just didn’t notice; probably too busy making money.

Yeah, that's pretty funny. The only Soprano lookalikes at the Taj are the old rocks that resemble Uncle Junior...

I think I played against this guy in a Showboatament once. He proceeded to take a bad beat and go light about $200 on fire at a 1/2 table afterwards.
