Re: Foxwoods Poker Classic
I'm just looking at the tourney on Sat... Maybe this is a stupid question but the rules aren't that clear. Is a modified shootout a standard SNG to start then top 3 move on to the "normal" tourney?

[/ QUOTE ] that's exactly what it is. everyone starts the "final" tourney with the same amount of chips, so basically the 1st round is a series of single-table satellites to the final round, which is played as a standard MTT. pretty cool format if you ask me. |

Re: Foxwoods Poker Classic
I'm driving down from Boston (Watertown) tomorrow AM -- I heard from a lady there that it is filling up quickly.
Registration is open tonight from 7pm - 11pm. Is there anybody there that could register for me? I talked to the lady and if your name is in the system it is OK, don't need the physical Wampum Card -- I REALLY don't want to miss this event since its the only one I can play in. PLEASE PM me if you think it's possible -- you'll get 10% of my action. Also, if anybody needs a ride, PM me. Best, Jon |
