Default $25 NL KQ offsuit from Seat 2: FLOP TOP TWO vs. SLAA

I almost never raise kq offsuit from Seat2, but i was winding down my session/had raised PF slighly over 5% in 150 hands. I am TA.

POKERSTARS GAME #8999786958: HOLD'EM NO LIMIT ($0.10/$0.25) - 2007/03/20 - 14:39:11 (ET)

I allready know I need to reraise significantly larger to take 10J/HeartHeart's odd away...

boci: raises $9 to $20.50
UglyGuru: raises $9 to $29.50
boci: raises $3.10 to $32.60 and is all-in

*** TURN *** [8s Kh Qh] [3c]
*** RIVER *** [8s Kh Qh 3c] [Ac]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
UglyGuru: shows [Kd Qs] (two pair, Kings and Queens)

I am thinking Ive probably got a looser at this point. Especially with the A on the river allthough trip 8's is the most likely beat here.

The rest of the hand is in white below:

boci: shows [Ks Kc] (three of a kind, Kings)
boci collected $60.50 from pot
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $63.50 | Rake $3

Seat 2: UglyGuru showed [Kd Qs] and lost with two pair, Kings and Queens
Seat 3: boci showed [Ks Kc] and won ($60.50) with three of a kind, Kings

First of all, you're a slight dog to JhTh, so you shouldn't try to re-raise him out. If you think you're up against that, I think you need to call, see the next card, then push or fold.

That said, 88 and JhTh seem like the most likely hands, and after he re-raises, I'm thinking I am probably a dog and it's going to cost me the rest of my stack to see this through. If you think it's 88, fold, if you think it's JhTh just call and play accordingly on the turn.

if you are going to raise PF make it more than .75. 3x bb raises never get respect, especially from up front because people will assume you have AA and take other hands to try and bust you out. make it at least $1 if not $1.25. Also, the raise he puts on you is essentially a min-raise. This does not seem like JhTh. I would expect a set here more often than not. I think you should probably just let KQo go up front in a FR to avoid this specific situation. I would be very afraid after the min raise and it is tough between trying to c/c and see a cheap showdown or c/f the turn

As for your flop RR, I hate it. It will only fold out hands you beat as JhTh will def just shove over you on the flop and sets will do the same but a hand like K9 will go away.
