Full Story
[ QUOTE ] Tiny, fluffy and adorable, Knut the baby polar bear became an animal superstar after he was abandoned by his mother. At three months old, however, the playful 19lb bundle of fur is at the centre of an impassioned debate over whether he should live or die. Animal rights activists argue that he should be given a lethal injection rather than brought up suffering the humiliation of being treated as a domestic pet. [/ QUOTE ] God forbid some abandoned baby polar bear suffer such humilation! I'm sure if it could speak it would choose to die too rather then deal with people. [censored] ![]() |

i'm an animal rights activist, and i think that this bear should be put in one of the few proper habitats that artificially exist for these creatures.
a lethal injection is absurd. what group wants to kill this bear? |

Nobody owns a baby polar bear. [/ QUOTE ] Man, this STILL cracks me up!! OP - this is pretty sad. I'm guessing that whoever said this had some (warped) logic to base it on. Iwouldn't put the whole Animal Rights movement on trial beacuse of one stupid comment. |
