Villian is a solid TAG and we play each other practically everyday. We make moves on each other once in a while but for the most part he's solid and probably views me the same way.

Pot is at about 1228 when he makes this bet. We both started with 1600$. The whole time I had him sitting on AQ (with AA and QQ being slight possibitlies). I was planning to CRAI the river but that Q was just horrible.

Is he value betting any hand I beat on the river? AK?

hero should have 3 bet the flop...
i think you have to call given the small bet and the pot size. AQ sounds about right, maybe AJ if youre shorthanded.

if he has a boat > us then he would vbet more than that. He could have K10 for the flop bluff raise? Or a random Q? I dunno, either way I call.

I think a fold here is good. Obviously during the game it's a different story, but sitting here looking at the hand it just doesn't seem like you beat anything by the river that would bet so small after the flop/turn action. It really looks like a bigger FH making a small enough bet that something like A/x would call them.

c/r turn looks good. someone mentioned 3 bet flop. that is terrible unless villain is bad.

As played, c/c smallish amount on river is ok. You might even block for 1/3 of pot. If villain has AK/AJ, though rare, he may call very smallish amount, and he would check behind if you check. If raised, you can fold.
