20-40-80 at commerce i bluff turn with top pair
strassa just picked up and told me not to play cause the games dead but i sit anyway and find out that yah, this games no good so im leaving soon. EP seems like a good player.
20-40-80nl. effective stacks 8k. i post in co, UTG3 raises to 280, i call QcTc, straddle calls. flop is T87 with 2 spades chk to me i bet 600, UTG3 calls turn is 7s chk to me i bet 1600 planning to shutdown on the river unless something changes.

I would definitely bet rivers here, depending on the player--who was it against?

I was just doing my homework and got lucky on the button as a shortstack............QQ vs. As5s!! I really thought Mikes pre-game scouting report was dead-on(compliment!!!) ,,,,,but the fact that you were ACTUALLY going to have a REAL hand on the FIRST orbit was a completly diff. story!! ~stephen f.

Its Poker,as well as a business($7MM+ in the pool)..........dont fret about it.Its no diff. than ANYONE asking someone about any competitor in ANY business,or if Jason had asked you about me first.....I asked you a question,made a stand,and got a bit lucky.......thats all. If I just called his re-raise on the button after opening the betting(which I most def, would have) instead of pushing pre-flop ,,,,,,,after the AdJc5h flop ALL my money is going in anyway. Strassa,if I recall STILL had a TON of chips even after I doubled up,as our table broke very shortly after.I am sure Jason has not gotten where he is without doing his OWN homework(pokertracker,2+2 forums,etc)as well to make him the player he is. stephen, after the play you immediately turn to me and say "I want to speak to you at first break", where you explain to me that a big reason you did what you did was because TStone told you that I would be coming over the top of you a lot early. I really dont use much poker tracker either, fwiw. Im just giving tstone a hard time, wasnt being all that serious obviously

Thanks Jason....the WHOLE point of the post was I was busting Michaels chops as well.........I know he WAS "upset" when I told him about our conversation the next day,and as judged by yours AND Michaels play......I am only complimenting BOTH of you on your Poker ability IMHO!!! How's L.A treating you?? ~stephen f. p.s the P/T line was an inside joke as well...the online luxery,us "LIVE" players dont have.(LOL)
