3/6: AA (double stacks)
He has 24/19/5.3. He is tough, for sure. I've called him down fairly light in the past in medium-large pots (max 150 blinds). He has always shown me good hands, but from these battles he should know that I'm not super weak tight.
What range do you think I should put him on? I really really suck at playing with larger than normal stack sizes. Re: 3/6: AA (double stacks)
I like a c/r all in on the turn. At least that way you give him a chance to put some money in with AQ/draws/air before stacking off. As played this is super close. From his perspective he shouldn't expect to have much fold equity, so I think for that reason he shouldn't be doing this with draws and you should fold.

Re: 3/6: AA (double stacks)
I made some EV calculations with Pokerstove:
Board: Qs Tc 3s 6c 25.974% { AcAd } 74.026% { KcKd, KcKh, KcKs, QQ, TT, 33, QTs } This is a really tight range, I think. I removed half of the KK combos and also the remaining AA as I think he would 4-bet these fairly often preflop. Against this range I would need 2.85:1 and the pot is laying me 3.13:1, so it looks like a call! But I agree with KingGordy that a c/r allin looks more appealing. |
