Default $6.50 5 table, 67s hand

Hi, I don't play many of these 45 person games, and
mostly play Omaha8, but decided to jump in this one.

Button is pretty LAG, so I check hoping to checkraise,
apparently BB wanted me to fold with is dumb minraise?
I raised it up hoping to get it heads up? In hindsight,
just flat calling BB's raise seems better, considering
I am probably the only one on the flush draw. Is that
the best play, if not what should I be doing?

Thanks for the help.

I don't play multis, but I usually wouldn't limp 76s utg. It's going to get raised a lot, and even if it doesn't you'll be playing a draw oop.

I'd probably bet-call this flop, depending on my reads. I don't mind the c/r. But, the pot will be getting large and you'll it'll be tough to fold a big draw like this.

i think openfolding preflop is probably best. i like the checkraise on the flop with your read on the button, though most of the time I lead.

I would fold pre flop, but I like the check raise post flop, although I would make my raise a little bit bigger, maybe 600-700. Then again small raise after min raise shows a lot of strength, but that might not get noticed at a 6.5
