Default Am I minimizing my losses or minimizing my wins?

Early in a live $200+$25. Starting stacks are 2,500 but I recently doubled up with this hand:

I raised A7o in LP BB called, Flop A,Q,X, I bet, BB called; Turn A, I bet, BB called; river Q, I overbet and BB pushed with a Q.

I have QQ in MP, UTG limps, I raise it 4x, he calls.

Flop JdJc2d I bet 3/4 pot and UTG quickly calls.

Turn Ah. UTG takes 3 seconds and checks, I check.

River Js. UTG takes 5 seconds and checks, I check.

Edit: My read was this was a typical tight, straightfoward player like 80% of the players at this casino.

Is both an option? UTG almost certainly has at least a pair by the river. If a pocket pair it probably isn't KK. Trapping with 22 or something with A or J is possible. Trying to get to showdown with QQ- is also possible. Based on your read that he's straighforward (which I'll read as not the kind to trap here, hoping for a check/raise on the river) then I guess you're minimizing your wins. A small value bet on the end is likely to get called. I doubt you can be that sure he isn't trapping or planning a move. I'd probably take the low variance route here and check behind as well because I don't think I can call a check/raise.

Sorry, my statement was a little misleading. I meant that it was too early for me to have much of a read other than the fact that most players in this tourny play straight forward with few semi-blufs or traps.

the second hand he had a pp . he looked you up on flop putting you on ace high. he checks the turn when his worst card shows on turn. so value bet small the river. he does not have a jack he would have bet the river.

With UTGs limp/call preflop I put him on a small pp, suited A, and a less likely AJ, or suited connector.

With his call on the flop, I put him on a nut flush or flush draw or pp.

The slight delay on the turn made me suspicious enough of the nut flush draw to not try and protect my hand.

Again the delay on the river set off more warning bells and I was really suspicious of the A but I was confused by the fact that I would have thought he would have bet the FH. I came very close to making a small bet but instead decided to go with my read. I also didn't think he would pay off anyway since my preflop raise represented a big A or PP.

I just showed the QQ and he turned over the AdXd.
