Mansion had a $100k guaranteed at 11:00 today. Only 350 people joined and after the 3rd hand they cancelled the tournameny citing "Technical Problems" (note all cash games were running fine) 5 minutes later the tourny was removed from the list.

It has now been about 30 minutes and my buy in still hasn't been refunded.

Mansion is plugging these 100k "Guaranteed" tournys all over their site and software i think its absolute bull [censored] that they can cancel it because they don't want to lose that much money.

Does anyone know anyone high up in mansion that can rattle some cages?

OP,
I really think you're on to something here. Since this promo has been running they've given away over 3 million dollars. Today, that extra $65,000 was just too much and they decide to do the highly unethical move of faking tech difficulties.

In the future there will be a new principle known through out the world as the Zomg Razor. Unlike Occam's Razor which chooses the simplest explanation, Zomg's Razor picks the most complicated and unlikely explanation.

Keep up the good work!

So if a $100 tourney was filled with people that got "free" entries there would be no prize pool? I wouldn't be ragging on the OP for spouting dumb [censored] when you are saying stuff just as stupid.

OMG my post WAS stupid! v v stupid. nh sir! At least it proves that it is standard, like I said. Doh.

The title of the OP seems very unfair towards Mansion.
It's a lot of money they are giving away, and now this is the thanks they get.

This is really sad!

Going off their own T&Cs, as quoted above, that is still $40k outstanding owed to those players in that tourney.

Mansion poker has always been shady as hell. They allowed Russian hackers to promote their site for months.

With comments like this, everone can see that you have no idea what you are talking about.
Mansion is owned by one of the richest asian man and has in every sportsbook review a A+ rating.

Guess I will avoid your site, because comments like this show incompetence.
