I love the mental image of this little weiner being like "I'm a defacto PR flack operating in crisis mode for the first time!" and then frantically refreshing this thread hahahahahaha.
Also WTF is he talking about that he was kept in the dark the entire final table, and then he's supposed to spin it for them? If they wanted you to handle it they would have included you in the group of people who actually had some clue about what's going on. |

"I wasn't kept appraised of the details. It was Dan's decision for her to continue playing.
Other than that, I am just here to alleviate any confusion the public may have on this matter even though nobody told me what happened. I'm appearing in this thread to officially state that I am not going to say anything. Thank you for your understanding in this matter." |

he participated in this thread to shed light on an awkward situation [/ QUOTE ] No, he participated in this thread to tell us not to discuss what happened to justify our existence - he actually attempted to shed darkness on the situation. And to spam his business of one client who he represents in a niche market only. |

So the dude that won should stick around an extra day because some chick that could drop any day decided to play a poker tournament? [/ QUOTE ] Couldn't have said it better. I hope her health is OK and baby is fine--no question about that. Why in society is it WPT's fault when someone enters a tournament and has a life issue get in the way of playing a poker tourney? What if I had to miss my 8:30 appointment this morning because my wife was ill and had to be rushed for surgery? Do I sue the prospect/client if they choose to go with another company? Life happens and you should make the best of it. |

I wonder if Olivert was actually being paid to represent JJ or if he was just following her around the tournament circuit calling himself her agent.

Once WPT events get to the final table, they are no longer poker tournaments. They become TV shows.
What's the best thing to do for the ending of a 2 hour TV show? Go to black, and then show Mr Forrester with Mr Van Pattener and Mr Sextoner drinking beer, or see a real finish? It's a TV show. What might happen in a real poker tournament shouldn't apply. ps. Hi Evey |
