I'm still wondering that...

I think I wanted value for hands like KJs/AJs that would've missed a flush to call a river push with less than 3k left. At the same time, I was hoping to push off those exact hands from drawing on me.

I think that river screams a made flush or at least a hand that beats you.

I'm almost inclined to check the turn and bet the river on a non flush card. The reason I do this is because his flop donk bet could mean many things including hands that have us beat right there. The fact that it is a higher buy-in probably signals more of a semi-bluff on the flush draw because a set will probably check the flop - I don't know, I never played anything this high.

I really think the river push is his last ditch effort to make you pay. I would hate to, but I really think we have to fold the river.
