Re: $3.40: trips on the turn
JJ and KK would have raised preflop. You're only really afriad of 99, QT, and the flush draws. I think I shove here.

push. Gotta get paid with trips when you get them, especially at low levels.

Re: $3.40: trips on the turn
I agree with Misfire. Even if you are beat with QT you have outs, and 99 would have bet the flop with the strait draw's. Good place to get a lot of chips and be dominate chip leader. And that is what it is all about right.

Re: $3.40: trips on the turn
Doesn't matter what action you're seeing, ship it in. You just need to know 2 things:
1. You're playing a $3.40 sng. 2. You have a set. |

[/ QUOTE ] reason number 1 is why i wonder if it might be more +ev to just c/f the flop if i get a caller or two when i raise with q's or k's preflop and an ace comes on the flop. lots of players call raises with ace-anything at $3.40. maybe a probe bet is more +ev for one caller and c/f is better for multiple |

If I get called by one guy when I'm oop I'll fire a probe bet, depending on the circumstances, if I'm called or raised I'm done with the hand. |
