It's extremely unrealistic to think Villanova will jump over Duke in the next poll, even if they beat Georgetown by 30.

My point was not that UConn should remain above Villanova. My point was that Villanova did nothing to merit being ranked higher than Duke and UConn did nothing to merit being ranked lower than Memphis.

there's really no way to justify jumping Nova over Memphis and Duke. One of them, maybe, but not both.

Louisville isn't even on the bubble for the NCAA tournament. They need at least a huge win JUST TO GET ON IT. Syracuse--true bubble team. At rutgers win will not help your argument. I don't care if it's not an easy place to play. Tell me a big 10 road game that IS and I'll help you with that argument. The only real team that you can debate that with is showing in your avatar. (aside from the what in the hell was ill doing game)

If Villanova wins the entire next 3 they will be the #1 team. But until then I think it's

Nova
Memphis
Texas

But any of those five can win come march or somehow lose in round 3. Gotta love CBB. After that I don't like anyone's chances of winning it all.

edit--regarding the zags, I think this is the worst team they've had in years. #5 is out of respect for the program for all the times it should have been ranked and it wasn't.
