Re: The official NETELLER thread
Anyone know where I can find the announcement that US Attorney Michael J. Garcia made on Friday about how the DOJ is going to proceed with the case?
Thanks |

Re: The official NETELLER thread
He may be asking for something a little more concrete than what G911 offers. I haven't been able to find anything that even remotely qualifies as an official statement. If it weren't for Cardplayer and Bob C., I wouldn't have accepted the "continuance" story. But it seems to be true.
Just the same, I'd like a link to something official. Who interviewed who? Who was at the courthouse? What are the sources? |

It's water under the bridge, and maybe somebody has already mentioned it...
But, why in the world didn't Neteller get set up to host transactions for non-gambling sites? I mean, they coulda had a few reputable businesses besides online gambling that we could purchase stuff from. Then they wouldn't be as easily targeted as only a gambling e-transfer site. Heck, throw in a few porn sites and they probably would have made quite a bit of money in transaction fees. Hypothetically, a married guy could use his poker bankroll to purchase "things" that he might not want his wife to know about. Purely hypothetical.. it's not like I ever looked! Oh well. |

Neteller 3/21 Press Release
Neteller announced they signed agreements with the USAO and Navigant which, among other things, outline terms and a timeline under which NETELLER will work toward the orderly distribution of funds to its US customers. Per the agreements, the Group anticipates that within the next 75 days it will announce a plan by which the funds will be distributed to US customers. Finally, some good news! |

Great [censored] news...at this point I'll settle for getting my money back within the next 3 months...obviously hopefully it will be sooner. I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say that I can't wait for this [censored] fiasco to be over.

Neteller Customer Coalition\'s Impact On Neteller
Hopefully people have seen the new press release from Neteller as well as the news around the USAO/Navigant.
http://www.neteller-group.com/content/en/media_faqs.htm http://www.theonlinewire.com/articleView.aspx?ID=2518 Part of the issue here has been a complete lack of communications between Neteller and its cutomers. For those that have questioned the impact of the Neteller Customer Coalition, join the gruop and read this thread: http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group...on/message/584 The group's efforts are helping push things along -- a very positive thing. |
