Hi, I have the flu (barf) for the second time this winter. and the first time i basically stopped eating/moving and lost a lot of weight/strength. I suppose that's expected, but I was wondering what other people tend to do when they're sick with something- do you try and maintain your normal eating habits or are you more concerned with just eating SOMETHING?
Also, after being sick, when do you jump back into things- first chance or do you really wait until you feel close to 100% before hitting the gym again? |

This is always a tough one for me. I guess the easiest answer is depends how sick.
I can't help you with the right answer as I have no idea. |

I also have no idea what the right answer is here but I would guess you would want to stay as close to your regular eating as possible and rest up until you feel good enough to hit the gym. It is really just all about how you feel; listen to your body and if you know the workout is gonna suck and might make you worse off than hold off for another day.

That sux. Not much you can do there. Try to eat at best possible while sick, and don't hit the gym until your close to 100%.
