It depends on the villian, if you see him limp/folding a lot or folding to cbets a lot then raising is fine. If he is a complete donk then raising is good because then you are trying to isolate him in a raised pot in position. If he seems reasonable and you think he will likely call your PFR then calling is fine. This will keep implied odds high as you will also be playing multiway so when you hit you will get paid off more.
My standard line is to raise though. |
