-image. loosening up your raising stds in LP is great for your image, a looser image gets paid off more, etc.
-the blinds. if anything, you win the blinds, which should be your main objective (if anything else) in NL holdem.
-deception. suited aces still have decent equity vs. the majority of your opponents holdings, and raising with these types of hands will make you a bit harder to play against (as your hand range is widened).
