Default Open limping in LP with AXs

I believe that most of you think that it's a pretty standard play to open raise with AXs in CO or the button against unknows and 100BB deep. But could it be more profitable to limp most of the time? I can see several reasons for this.

1. If you hit an ace you may get paid of by worse pairs. If you come in for a raise, your Ace doesn't have almost any value because you will only get called down by better aces.

2. AXs makes a lot of money by stacking lower flushes. So why try to push them out of the pot. I know it's a lot easier to stack somebody in a rasied pot but theres still a big a chance your opponent will pay off big with his lower flush.

So what do you think about this? Are the benefits of raising just too good to not raise?

lol besides that its fun, you should definately raise here. I see what you mean though, but you have to raise. Why? Because your are going to be the first one to voluntairly enter the pot, not to mention you have position on them. Besides that the main reason is if you raise, they can call and you have the chance of hitting your flush, but also you steal the blinds when they fold. With either you are happy but remeber aggression pays in poker. I honestly dont think you are off here, calling could be a decent play, to each there own I'm just explaing how i feel. Hope it helps.
