Is Al Jefferson really that good of a defender or did Dirk just have a craptastic game?

[/ QUOTE ]

Kendrick Perkins, Leon Powe, and Al Jefferson all split time on him.

Al Jefferson might have the best post moves ever for a 22 year old. It's so fun watching him operate on the block.

Portland would have won if they gave more minutes to my boy Travis Outlaw.

Kobe with 65 in a big win over portland

[/ QUOTE ]

I saw that game, he willed them to win, they were down by 7 with just over a minute. Kobe is a unique player. Even in the loss to Denver, you saw how great he is on the defensive end.

Carmello would post him up, the game is pretty much over by now, its the 4th Lakers down by 20. Kobe controls Carmello with a forearm to the back. Strong. Mello can't back him up, pretty limited in his movement left or right. Twice misses a turnaround jumper. Not yet Youngblood...

The game was over, but when Kobe takes defense personally, you aren't gonna score. He wants to make sure everybody knows he is the best player on the court. And if you do score, he will score 3 on the other end.

Bleh, I didn't see the game but I don't like it when Kobe succeeds.

[ QUOTE ]
Several Blazers said the Lakers (34-31) were trash-talking a lot during the game, and the heated finish led to the scuffling.

"People were talking all game long, and I guess it just came to a head right there," Ime Udoka said. "But it's part of the game, it's nothing. Leave it on the court and move on."

[/ QUOTE ]

Imagine a team with possibly the BEST PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE who's battling for the 6th seed talking trash lol. Silly Lakers.
