Default Common Mistakes

Let's use this thread to compile a list of common mistakes that people make when working out. This thread could have major benefits for beginners or even experienced lifters who have developed bad habits. This can have to do with anything from diet to workout plan to technique.

I'll start:

Make sure you include all parts of your body in a workout plan. People often neglect to workout their legs, or back for instance. Your body needs to grow in balanced proportions.

Focus on whatever you are trying to improve on by placing it first in your cycle and first in your workouts.

Common mistake: not listening to your body. Take that day of rest because without it you could be putting yourself in jeopardy to miss more than just one day of exercise. In a similar vein, a cheat day isn't bad.
