Poker Stars
No Limit Holdem Tournament Blinds: t15/t30 10 players Converter Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG folds, UTG+1 calls t30 (pot was t45), 4 folds, Hero raises to t120, Button calls t120 (pot was t195), 2 folds, UTG+1 calls t90 (pot was t315). Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (t405, 3 players) UTG+1 checks, Hero bets t270, Button raises all-in t935, UTG+1 folds, Hero folds. i made a probe bet of about 65% of the pot here because of something i read in Negreanu's book, but i wonder if it's more +ev to just check-fold |

I think bet/folding and c/c with the intention of c/f the turn are both fine depending on the villain.
