2pr against maniac - line check
Villain seems to be a German and runs by the german equivalent of "Executioner". Accordingly his play. He's on the table for the 2nd orbit and has managed to aquire stats of 76/46/2.3

Final Pot: 15.50 BB Does that look about right, or is it better to raise the turn? Does it matter? Should I keep on raising at all after the flop cap? KTs, K7s, 77, TT are all very well in his range... |

Re: 2pr against maniac - line check
Fold this pre-flop.
The cap is fine I think against this guy, but I just call down from the turn once he continues to fire at me. Another line would be to just call the first flop raise and hit him on the turn. |

Re: 2pr against maniac - line check
Is he playing postflop also like a maniac? Or is he willing to back down with crap? For the first, against such a guy HU, 2pair is a monster, and I also prefer the flop call / turn raise line. According to stats, I'd play the river the same.

Re: 2pr against maniac - line check
the pfr is pretty bad in general, but it's really bad with a maniac waiting to act behind you. K7 is not going to showdown UI.
i raise the turn. i'm not sure why you would wait and raise the river instead, especially against this opponent. |

Re: 2pr against maniac - line check
I wouldn't play this preflop.
I also don't get calling the turn to raise the river. If you instead raise/called the turn and called the river, I'd like it more. |

Re: 2pr against maniac - line check
tbh, I chickened out on the turn and then thought to myself: "You gotta raise once more here somewhere."
Agree about pre-flop. Otherwise the table was quite tight, so I took this as a semi-blindsteal attempt. |

Re: 2pr against maniac - line check
Way too much FPS and MUBS going on in this forum. The turn call makes me want to puke.

Re: 2pr against maniac - line check
I dont get why you are waiting till the river? Do you think he's more likely not to 3-bet then? Does it really matter?
I rather raise the turn and call down then. |
