guess what he had...yes he had the ladies. My question is did i play wrong? I think i played correctly, coz i couldn't put him on queens (especially considering his PF raise). at the turn i did have an idea that he's on TT, but he was so loose that i took a chance.

Well, if you flop the bad end of a set over set situation you are supposed to lose your stack, so i wouldn't be angry about this. But he played this hand so bad, it makes me wonder: how bad does a villain have to play a hand for you to actually find a way to get out of this mess alive?

I mean, he made terribly small bets, let you draw with two diamonds and QT on the board, then minraised you twice. Does he play his weaker hands like this, too? If so, you can draw out on him all day. If not, he might as well tell you what he has. Or maybe he is just scared of betting? Then steamroll him.

I wouldn't be worried about this hand too much. It's much more important what you learn about this guy for future situations.

You played it too slow. Raise to $0.70 on the flop. If he reraises then raise pot again. As played raise on the turn. As played push river.

And if you feel the need to post results then post in BBV. You will get better feedback without them.

i'd raise more on the flop and push to a reraise.

Juu that's mean sending him to BBV with this haha.
Getting it in with a set on this sort of board is fine/standard/unfortunate in this case.

The hand is a more interesting BBV post if the villain has 22.

if he has QQ or 1010... bad luck for you but not exactly rare.

I don't understand some things about your post...
(1)

[/ QUOTE ]
What about his raise mean's he can't have queens?

(2)
[ QUOTE ]
UTG+2 ($11.64) losing player over 52 hands Loose/neutral

[/ QUOTE ]
Isn't he a winning player by virtue of his stacksize?

I think every player in this hand is underbetting. I don't see why both players weren't all in on the flop or turn.

lol at this level no one ever 3bet minraises or minraises river on a bluff. EVER. i've lost some buy ins realizing that. I would have played it alot faster though and try to get in on the flop and assume he has aq.

Wow, that was some slow action on that board with those hands. I don't think I've ever had the underset and not stacked off on the flop.

I wouldn't worry a lot about how to avoid losing your stack with the underset in a raised pot. Like wallenborn said, concentrate more on how this villain played that hand for future reference.
