Default Party in America?

I want to live in Vegas for a couple of months this summer. Now, having a UK bank and playing in the UK I have no problem playing Party. If I'm in America, will I still be able to play? The bill rules against transactions between sites, and since I would still be using my UK bank account surely it is in the rules? I guess the thing is whether Party will allow it, since I could technically be renting my account out. Would telling them first be a good idea? Has anyone tried any of the above?

Thanks

Pretty sure Party checks for American IPs as well. If you can VPN into the UK you shouldn't have any problems though.

There is no law against PLAYING online poker in Nevada.

But that didnt stop party from banning all Nevada (and all US) players did it?

You will have to call party, others in this forum believe party uses IP addresses to ID US players. If so, they probably will not have the capacity to make an exception for you.

If you are going to be living in Las Vegas why are you worried about playing at Party Poker???? You do know that they have poker rooms in Las Vegas, don't you????????? lol Take 2 months off from the internet (poker playing) and enjoy that time doing the many-many-many things that are available in and around the great city of Las Vegas If you are going to be there for only 2 months that will not be enough time to do/visit everything.

They definately won't make an exception for you, or anyone else for that matter. You will not be able to play Party Poker at all while in the USA.

You could always call Party Poker and ask them if it would be ok.

I was hoping for an actualy party invite..but...

I'd definitely take time off from online poker and play live in Vegas for 2 months. I wish I could do that.

You cannot play Party from India either. I called them, told them I'm just visiting for a week but still no go. VPN didn't work from the hotel so I can't tell you if that'll work.
