This antislip system is driving me nuts!! I have to wait about 3 seconds to be sure that clicking a button has any effect. Multitabling is really a pain this way!

Please mail Party about this if this annoys you as well, I did too.

Yes, 100% agree.

Anti-anti-slip is the way to go I think, as they will most likely never listen to our mails, so it will be down to us to try to found workarounds...

Uh.. I don't think there's anything you can when you're playing with a mouse (apart from asking Party to fix it).
I was talking about playing with keyboard/joypad.

Strangely it seems to have stopped for me now? I just hope it never comes back!

Is this 'anti-slip' thing a feature or a bug? (Do they mention it anywhere on their site as being a new feature?)

juk,

same thing for me.
i played for a couple of hours and had a lot of difficulty clicking the buttons. the best technique seemed to be to hover over the button until it changed to the lighter colour, then there was no problem. although sometimes it would not change by hovering and i would be time pressed and end up clicking madly.

additionally, i was getting a huge system-wide slowdown as soon as soon as i went beyond 5 tables. even when i went back down to 4 my system continued lagging and the actions were ridiculously delayed. i have read of a possible memory leak with the new party client so i shut down the system and rebooted.

for some reason, after a reboot i found party to be running great. no anti-slip problems and no slow down even at 7 or 8 tables. i kept my second session short so i am not sure yet if it usually will deteriorate after a couple hours.

who knows? all i can say at this point is if you are having troubles (i.e., unusual system slowdown or antislip) with the new client then a reboot might clear things up.

cheers,
sean

Hi,

This sounds very like the problems I used to get with the old beta version. It used to start crashing when you clicked the action buttons (after a slight system pause usually), and when I restarted PC all was fine again for a few hours. Perhaps this is a related bug they never fixed from the old beta?

Today I just been playing 6max so not gone over 4 tables (and so far I am still anti-slip free! ), but just hope I don't get the same thing when start playing full ring again.
