Curtains,

You speak of your K+S chart a lot.

Obviously, K+S charts numbers are usefull to give an good idea of each hand shoving strength.

But the exact numbers can be used only for cEV, which of course is really different from $EV in a STT as we all know. Do you agree ?

re: earlier discussion of IQ and it's use as a predictor of life outcomes.

Check out this awesome article by Daniel Goleman (the guy who effectively named the concept of "EQ") - http://www.danielgoleman.info/blog/2...ouble-with-iq/

Yes however you can usually use this knowledge, combined with a good feel of ICM, to come to a quick and accurate decision while playing many games.

A while back you wrote some SnG articles. A couple in particular I remember were about playing AK. The site they were hosted on seems to have gone down. Are these articles available anywhere else?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes they are. People ask for these articles quite a bit. I don't know where to find them but if someone reading this knows where they are, please add a link. Thanks!

You can find the articles here: www.gogol.co.uk/curtains

Do you think stars is the most profitable place for a good SNG player?

OMG THE THREAD JUST WON'T DIE!!!!!!

Have you played much blindfolded chess? If so, where would you estimate your strength blindfolded vs. players not blindfolded?

Yugoslav

Yeah I thought it was finally over....I suck at blindfold bigtime. Maybe I'm just lazy though? But really it's not one of my strengths. Although I bet I'd be decent at solving endgame studies blindfold...just playing blindfold I suck compared to my rating strength.

I know what handicap to ask for if we ever play now. blindfolded, queen..donno, few others...

oh, and odds
