Standard Turn C/R with 3rd Pair
Villain is 21/19/5 through 130 hands. Seems very solid. My image should be good/TAG.

My image should be good/TAG. [/ QUOTE ] I've read enough of your posts to know this can't be true. What did you think his range was here? I think he'll less than top pair here - and assuming he 2nd barrels a lot this is okay. The UTG solid player factor and the lack of knowing his 2nd barrel habits make it a bit dicey in a vacuum for me. |

Re: Standard Turn C/R with 3rd Pair
Even if he does 2nd barrel a lot I don't think a c/r is good here. This is exactly the type of situation a habitual 2nd barrel-er is loving when he c-bet the flop with A high. Value bet that looks like a 2-barrel. I'd let this one go.

Re: Standard Turn C/R with 3rd Pair
This spot is too dangerous to make this play. Umless you think you get him to fold a strong Ace. What do think he has if he's still betting the turn? I thnk it's time to fold and play next hand. The Ace could be the worst card in the deck try this c/r on. This too risky of a move to make often in SSNL. That game is too easy to beat with out taking risks like this.

Hehe probably not - but aren't you the "borderline retarded" guy, and/or the 1st-orbit-triple-barrel-play-for-stacks-with-air bluff guy?
I just thought you were laggy was all. |

[/ QUOTE ] That hand and these are very, very rare for me. I think I'm running about 19/16 for my last 5K hands or so. I just don't post the std. hands very often. Re: Standard Turn C/R with 3rd Pair
Just a thought, not saying it's good,
but what do you think about c/c'ing instead of raising. Tonnes of people 2 barrel with an overcard on the turn, and if they don't have an A, you probably have them beat anyways. Seems like a Q would check through the turn anyways. |

Re: Standard Turn C/R with 3rd Pair
i think alot of regulars are folding alot of hands on the turn since "if you are checkraised on the turn one pair is rarely good" principle. Problem is when both players know the other person knows this it doesn't apply anymore.
