Default 20/40 3 way at the Borgata

Tight 20/40 at the Borg.

I'm in BB with K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
EP calles; SB calls; I check

Flop is 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
SB bets; I raise; EP 3 bets; SB 4 bets (capped); I call

Turn is 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
SB checks; I check; EP bets; SB raises (uh-oh)
Fold/call/raise here?

I'd probably raise PF. Bet/call the turn. Why did you check? That makes the turn annoying/difficult.

change EP limper into LMP and beyond limper than sure. checking here is fine.

that said i'd bet the turn for stated reasons. as played i'd coldcall the turn and see what action develops.

FWIW, I've seen set over set in that game that went two bets preflop, two bets on the flop, one on the turn, one on the river. Both flopped sets. QQ>JJ.

Not betting the turn really made this a not fun decision, IMO. I think you have to call here and see what happens to you. I could find a fold against sane opponents if it comes back capped to you, but if someone pops it again but there's no cap, I call and reevaluate on the river.

FWIW I've seen the opposite end of the spectrum.

I would have just called the flop fearing a raise would kick the EP out.

Lead the turn. As played I'm calling down.

Since the SB was the capper on the flop I checked the turn thinking if EP bet and SB called I'd raise. When the SB raised I feared the made boat or the A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and some other [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Results:

I cold called the 2 bets on the turn.

River was 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB checked; I checked looking for the SB trap and EP checked. Both EP and SB had A 8 for a set and SB had the A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I took the pot.

In retrospect I think I missed a bet preflop & I should have led out on the river and value bet when the brick hit on the river.

I am surprised you say the table was tight, the 10/20 & 20/40 are the loosest games at the borgata. CRAZY ACTION!!!
What night of the week were you there?
