Foo Fighters- Everlong. Actually I fell so strongly about this one that about a year ago I made almost this exact same post b/c of this song.
Limp Bizkit- Re-Arranged Bright Eyes- Old Soul Song There are for sure many more but these were the first three that popped into my head.

I think their first two albums are great. Some people in this thread seem to be posting songs which are specific reasons I hate the artist in question. (Case in point: whoever said "My Humps". Geez, if you're gonna like a Black Eyed Peas song, it should be the one about retards.)

There are many bands I can't stand that so many people love. I can't stand U2, Foo Fighters, Aerosmith, and Coldplay though on 2p2 people bash Coldplay...but the country loves them. I don't know how ruffling this is but as far indie goes I just can't find myself to like Bright Eyes or Bloc Party. Oh this one will get some hate, I can't stand the Go! Team.

[img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] Anyway, I've always liked the first Foo Fighters album, and I think the second one has a handful of really good songs, some of which kind of go unnoticed (I think "See You" is brilliant). Now they're like the Quintessential Average American Rock Band or whatever and who cares what they do, but I thought those first two albums were very good. I've never been a Bright Eyes fan either. Or Death Cab. Oh! Here's a nomination. I really like "We Looked Like Giants" even though I generally can't stand Death Cab and it's the epitome of so many reasons why (i.e. all the sentimental schmaltz about the idyll of teen romance). It just feels more real to me than the rest, somehow.
