Default Flopped trips with topkicker, what to do?

NL200
Villain is 15/10 with 517 hands. My tableimage was pretty tight aggressive. I had a feeling he flopped the boat with 5s but will he make the same play with q,j?

Preflop, I 3-bet or fold. Given the tight UTG raise, I fold every time. You hit a great flop though, and I generally like to bet/3-bet here.

it's unlikely he has a flush since it was backdoored. the most likely group of hands is 55-AA. I just don't see a player THIS tight playing AA or AK this way on a paired board. river= i would be interested in hearing other players comments

Well if you're not going to raise any street you gotta call the river. I really doubt villain has you on trips when you check a 3rd time on the river.

That is some serious monsters under the bed thinking to put him on 55 there. I think he would easily play QJs, JTs, AK, AA this way (admittedly he probably shuts down on the river tho with AK and AA).

I fold this preflop against this guy. as played i would probably check raise the flop and hope he doesnt believe me.
turn checkraise is good too. just raise somewhere!

personally I would raise the turn given the action I am definitely calling the river, you have a majorly underrepresented hand. I don't think I can find a fold here given the way you played it

Lead the flop or check-raise it.

Why is everyone afraid of the nuts all of a sudden?

with a bet like this i think you are going to see 55, KK or KJs a lot of the time. the problem is that the op's hand is so underrepped that a fold just feels too weak to be correct. i think i would call and hope that he is "value" betting AA, AK. i throw something if he tables 88.

anyway, I called, and he showed 5,5

but checkraising flop scares away AA-TT, leaving me hand that beat me 55. KJ-QJ which is less likely cause of his tight stats and raise UTG
