Hi all,

We have no problem with responding to the above post.

“Understandable… that would be good customer service.”

This comment is based on the common misconception that Ongame Network somehow runs an online poker room where players can sign—up play and pay rake.

We don’t. We do however supply the technical solution that allows our contracted poker partners do just that.

Customer support for us means taking care of our contracted operators. Customer service to them is taking care of you guys.

You don’t pay rake to us, you pay rake to the various poker sites that has chosen Ongame Network as their supplier. Every contracted operator runs and/or is responsible for their own Customer Support and Payments units.

“So thousands of players, who Ongame helped set up with a poorly run company, were left to deal with Futurebet? Did you guys not give a [censored] what happened to our money?”

It is a free market and within the rules and regulations we demand that all our contracted poker partners abide to, they are free to run their site as they choose. Some invest heavily in good customer support, inventive promotions, VIP shops etc, while others attempt to attract players solely by offering bonuses and deals that may well be too good to be true.

If contracted partners, despite our warnings, do not cease with such offers that we know are not sustainable we have no choice but to expel them.

If we hadn’t given a [censored] about what happened to your money, then we certainly wouldn’t have replied to these posts at all. We wish nothing more than that all funds are returned to their rightful owner. If we together with you guys can figure out a way of making it happen, then we are certainly willing to assist.

Why wouldn’t we?

“Yeah.. all us Pokes Poker players can only log in, and verify easily all the money we have had pending for the last 6 months.”

That’s good. We certainly hope affected players save that as evidence.

“..and that the majority of their present customers have no idea about the likes of Pokes and Bayou and how Ongame supported them and let trusting customers use them,”

That’s probably due to the fact that many of our operators’ customers prefer to play on well-renowned sites with a long history and a good solid reputation. If one site offers a ton of amazing bonuses after being open a week and another doesn’t that probably implies that site number two has decided to invest money in other important areas of any online poker operation as well.


Although what happened in this situation should NEVER EVER go as far as it did, we again live in a free market where operators are free to choose how they want to run their business.
Players too are free to choose to play anywhere they want and decide whether excellent support or big-percentage bonuses is what they’d rather go for.

When players choose to play on any site run by one of our contracted poker partners, they should be able to feel confident that that operator abides by a high standard of business ethics due to it being run by an Ongame Network partner. And that is true for all of our current and coming partners.

Our regulatory routines weren’t alert enough in this case, and we’ve paid the prize for it ever since.

“We know you have no intention to pay back any of your player's money you gave to…”

This again implies that we somehow have playing and paying customers. We don’t.
We merely fulfilled our financial obligation to a contracted partner according to that contract. And then terminated it. It’s their player database. It’s their Payments team. It’s their responsibility.

But as mentioned in the previous post, it’s certainly our cross to bear as well.

We welcome any initiative from organized groups to contact us and discuss potential ways in which we can assist in any attempts to right any wrongs committed against players during the mentioned operator’s time as a contracted partner with Ongame Network.

We’re certainly available to discuss this topic further, but please have patience if we have forgotten to bring up an important point or two in this reply. We feel our posts are long enough as it is already.
