Re: Are these spew??
Not a big fan of hand 1 unless he knows you're liable of calling big bets on turn OOP w/ out proper odds. But I love hand 2. If i was villain I probably couldnt call w/out AA KK or a set.

[ QUOTE ]
I also believe my shove gets paid every time when i hit my straight. [/ QUOTE ] One of the reasons why I don't like the call on the turn is because it may be unlikely that villain will pay off a push when it comes the 9 or 4 of diamonds that completes your straight. |

Re: Are these spew??
hand 1 is very good, if you know how your opponent thinks, and if this was how you planned to play it from the flop.
hand 2 i'd like more on a different turn card. EDIT: i missed the pf limping on hand 1. looks like he has 55 and will call no matter what. i still like your line postflop for your hand, but not here given this preflop action. |

Re: Are these spew??
Chaostracize... first I havent played with villain in the 87 hand a ton. Second, I dont think most players at 3/6 think deeply enough to realize
a) I'm a good enough player not to call a psb oop with a FD b) I read hands well enough to know they almost never have a FD and therefore feel confident representing it when it hits. The combination of these two pieces of info led me to believe that I could call a psb on turn profitably- getting paid when I hit my hand and bluff shoving when a flush card hits. I agree my play of this hand could be marginally -ev but I dont think its terrible by any means. |
