Default 1st Post ... Oppinions on this hand NL sng

Opponent shows after every hand, and I believe opponents do this to set you up sometimes.

Seat 1: hero (1,420)
Seat 2: villain (1,580)
villain posts the small blind of 10
hero posts the big blind of 20
The button is in seat #2
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to hero [Kd 5d]
villain raises to 40
hero calls 20
*** FLOP *** [8h 6s Th]
hero checks
villain checks
*** TURN *** [8h 6s Th] [8c]
hero checks
villain bets 460
hero folds
Uncalled bet of 460 returned to villain
villain shows [Jc Kc] (a pair of Eights)
villain wins the pot (80)

So he way over bet the pot, made it look like a bluff and it was. Right away I thought if he does this again he has the nuts / close to the nuts, thinking i would insta-call. Very next hand.

Dealt to hero [Ah 2s]
hero raises to 60
villain calls 40
*** FLOP *** [3s 2c 5s]
villain checks
hero checks
*** TURN *** [3s 2c 5s] [Ad]
villain checks
hero bets 80
villain calls 80
*** RIVER *** [3s 2c 5s Ad] [Ts]
villain bets 700
hero has 15 seconds left to act
hero folds
Uncalled bet of 700 returned to villain
villain shows [Qs 9c] (Ace Queen high)
villain wins the pot (280)

What streets did i play wrong, and would you have made that call on the second hand? First post so all comments appreciated. Also if you could tell me how to post hands so next time they are not in this form, thank you.

Check out this hand converter for a better HH format.

I think you played it fine, although if he does actually have the straight he'd most likely have c/r shoved on the turn so the fact that he only does it on the river is a bit fishy. That said, this guy is so bad there's no telling what he might do. You probably good here more than 50% of the time but against this opponent you should be winning 70%+ of the time, so I'd wait for a less uncertain spot

I agree, why would you risk a lot of money when according to your read on your opponent you may not have the best of it.
I, like many others, would rather make the raise than call it, so I think your fold is excellent, regardless of how high his raise was.
