I can't imagine beating this game on 1-player, it took my brother and I forever playing together a few years ago to beat it on the NES.

Update. I got to that level without using a single continue. Had about 9 guys saved up for it. Used all nine guys then 4 continues then finally went cheat code route for level 58. I went on to beat the game alone only to hear it doesn't count because I didn't have a friend around to beat it with me. To sound like the Angry Nintendo Nerd... [censored] you nintendo. I hope you go up, up, down, down and left, right to hell!
