AK OOP --- 100 nl
over the last 2 years, i have been mostly a 6-max player. around thanksgiving i began to mix in full ring games. This allows me to play 8 - 12 tables as opposed to 4, and gives me a change of pace from the very aggressive, read dependant shorthand style that i am used to, as i play the full ring games rather nitty, with HUD giving the only reads i have.
One issue that i am having that is definately cutting into my win rate is TPTK. I have no problem folding a multitude of hands, but i have noticed when i am the agressor, i have trouble releasing TPTK OOP. My last session brought up a very common scenario for me. The villian just sat down within 10 hands, so i have no read. Most of you might find this hand obvious, but i am second guessing myself being new to FR. Any comments on this line would be appreciated. Re: AK OOP --- 100 nl
Kx of spades got there, you were already dead to sets. All kinds of 2 pair got there, KT,KJ. I don't see any other move on the river.
Not sure what your question is. The line is fine. Checking the turn is an option too for pot control. |

Re: AK OOP --- 100 nl
I would raise to 6$ preflop, but that's just a small tidbit. Anyway, you've gotta bet more on the flop. That bet is begging to get called. You're in a multiway pot with TPTK as the pfr, you really don't mind taking this pot down right now. Since the board is fairly dry, I would bet about 16-17$, and if I'm called, I would go into entirely passive mode, calling maybe 1/3-1/2 pot bets on the turn and river, but most likely just trying to show it down or folding otherwise. You were almost 100% beat on the river, this is fine. I don't bet the turn though. If he checks behind on the turn, I lead smallish for value on the river against lower kings, although with the horrid texture of the board, I wouldn't mind a c/c on river either.

Re: AK OOP --- 100 nl
Completely standard? You're are only beating a very retarded bluff on the river.
