This is another one I always stop at too, no matter how recently I've seen it. Good call, OP.

None.

I hate watching movies on TV. They butcher them with editing and the constant breaks for commercials drive me crazy. I'm with David Lynch in regards to watching movies beginning to end without interruption. If I see a movie on T.V. while clicking through that I want to watch I'll put it in the DVD player if I own it or rent/buy it soon.

Yes. My girlfriend and I have cable. I have a friend that works for the local cable company and hooked it up for us for free. It's not really for me because I rarely have time to watch TV. If I do I usually watch sports. I do have a good sized movie collection that numbers over 300 DVDs and I enjoy watching those when I feel like sitting in front of the TV.

Wow.

I read the title of the thread and this is the first one that popped in my mind.

Even way back in high school (late 80's) this movie had this effect.

A busload of us were up skiing in Banff. Since we were all underage we were partying in our rooms instead of the bar.

This movie comes on the TV in one of the rooms, and everyone stops acting like idiots and watches the rest of the movie in 4-5 different rooms.

Movie ends, tunes go back on and mayhem resumes.

Regards,
Woodguy
