Re: 4/180 Fold QQ Preflop?
They could be calling with all sorts of hands including 22+ and suited connectors. After each caller, the next person get progressively better odds to call. You going A/I also will probably knock all of them out. If not, you are probably a much greater favorite over them than UTG. Do you really think they would just call two raises in front w/KK or AA? I certainly don't.

Re: 4/180 Fold QQ Preflop?
First of all, I'm not so sure they will call.
Second, you want them to call. If you triple up 45% of the time, then that's great. Any situation where the chance of you trippeling up is greater than 33% is a favourable situation. |

Re: 4/180 Fold QQ Preflop?
I play most of my MTT's in the 4/180's and I can honestly say that I would never fold QQ PF in the first level. Which leads me to my next point:
Just push AI after his raise. I know this sounds retarded, but you would be suprised how many times I get called with hands that I have crushed. If I'm the first one in, I just make a standard raise. But if someone raises first, I push every time with 10's+, AK. I've had calls from as bad as K10o. LOL. Bottom line is I'm exposing these players' biggest weakness: overvaluing high card hands pre-flop. They really don't understand how weak AJs is when someone goes AI giving them like 1.2 to 1 odds. Take advantage of this. Because when they miss the flop, they aren't giving you any more chips. |

Re: 4/180 Fold QQ Preflop?
i think your post could have been shortened to just the title and most people would still say call and be right.
