2-4 limit on stars.fish or not fish?
i started with no-limit on-line. and have always played it.
untill a couple months ago. got on stars and 3 tabled 1-2 limit. it has been going well. definitely a consistent winner. i got my roll up their a bit so started playin some 2-4. ended up +220 2 tabling. have been playin 50% 1-2 50% 2-4. the 2-4 limit seems just as juicy as the 1-2. only bigger wins obv. question is: is the 2-4 limit on stars as juicy as i think? and can ya make a good extra income multi-tabling 2-5 limit. appreciate honest feedback. |

Re: 2-4 limit on stars.fish or not fish?
2/4 Stars is way tougher than 1/2. If you're having great success at 2/4 then I hope it continues. But the players at 2/4 are much better IMO. The better 1/2 players are at 2/4 too.

Re: 2-4 limit on stars.fish or not fish?
I don't think that stars has the best limit games, but I do think that they have the best player reward program. I think that for me at least, the incentives that I get from playing there, are worth the fact that I might be gettting a couple of pennies less per hand from the game itself.
I usually multitable, and play during off hours, that limits me to the bigger sites. I would expect that the smaller sites frequently have games that are better than the bigger sites. In the past, if you could tolerate the software, Pacific poker for instance reputedly had very weak games. |

Re: 2-4 limit on stars.fish or not fish?
I am predominantly a Stars limit player. I presently play 2/4 and have found these games to be much softer than 1/2. They are by no means easy, but I think you begin to see the recreational gambler at this level. The micros are chock full of 2+2 TA types. 2/4 seems to be the beginning of it opening up again.

you play on stars? what about fulltilt limit games? [/ QUOTE ] I play a mixture of stars, FT, and UB. I think that each site has a slightly different culture, and a different mix of players. There seem to be more maniacs on Full tilt, and UB seems to have a larger percentage of Weak Tight players. Stars probably has the largest group of Multitable grinders. You have to be able to adjust to the flavor of each game, and I think that playing on multiple sites, gives you the practice to do that, when the game which you are playing in changes character. |
