Going to Vegas in a couple of Weeks
Just wondering what the state of limit is nowadays (I usually play 6/12 and 10/20 at Mirage and 8/16 Bellagio and the occassional 4/8 at various places). I will be staying at the Mirage. I generally go twice a year but haven't been since last April as unforeseen circumstances didn't let me take my fall trip.
Anyway last time out it seemed like limit was dying and drying up all over the place. I expect I will spend a good portion of my playing time doing tournies too as those Caesars tournaments were pretty sweet. But just wondering what the limit environment is like these days for the low/mid stakes limit. It seemed bleak about a year ago and wondering if it still is? |

www.allvegaspoker.com click on Betting Limits. [/ QUOTE ] Not really what I was asking. I'm wondering what the current state of action and the games are. Are they still drying up? Is no limit still taking over? Last time that seemed to be the case. Where there used to be primarily limit games they seemed farer and fewer between with no limit games getting the majority of play. And are the limit games good, bad, great or mediocre? I realize this varies just wondering as to the general state of things these days. |

[/ QUOTE ] The limit vs no-limit environment is probably about the same as last year this time around here. Maybe even slightly more NL action. I'd say for cash games Vegas is about 70% NL, 25% Limit, 5% everything else. |
