I win on average about $250 per four hour session in a live 100-300NL. In that time I make about $50 worth of dumb mistakes (i.e. cb into dagerous flop). So I quess I play about 80% of my best game. Is that about normal?

I don't play live, that seems like a huge winning %. How many hours would you estimate you've played?

250/hr in 100-300 NL isnt very good thats less than a big blind per hour you should move down to where they respect your cbs into dagerous flops.

$250 per four hour session [/ QUOTE ] Poster means $60 per hour. The stakes aren't clear either. Do we talk about NL100, NL200, NL300 (if that exists), or a huge game with blinds of $100 and $300 ? At NL200, $60/hr is 15 PTBB/hr. Good. I guess that the question can be rephrased also: How do I quantify my errors? This is similar to: Is there room for improvement in my game? I can answer the last question, at least for my game. Since my winning rate is half way towards the best posters of this forum (excluding outliers and outright liars), then my mistakes have a cost similar to my current winnings. That leaves a lot of room for improvement, isn't it? |

Sorry, I was not clear. I meant a 2/5NL game with $100-300 buy-in. It is the standard game on the Suncruz boat out of Cape Canaveral.

Also I meant $250 in 4 hours or $62.50 per hour.
